King of Hearts
Every fall semester, Alpha Phi and Alpha Epsilon Pi host our philanthropy event, King of Hearts, on Fraternity Row. The event is known to be similar to a Beauty Pageant for men with events including Formal Wear, a Choreographed Dance, and , which the event very entertaining for both the audience and those competing. Each participating fraternity nominates one brother to represent their chapter in the competition and compete to win the title of “King of Hearts”.
This past year, we had ten contestants and raised over $3,000, which was donated to Alpha Phi’s philanthropy, The Alpha Phi Foundation, and Alpha Epsilon Pi’s philanthropy, The Alzheimer’s Association, and PG County Shock Trauma Ward.
